From 2015 to 2017, he is a research Fellow in the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering of HKUST and Postdoctoral Fellow (Co-professor: Academician Guo Haicheng) of the Jockey Club - HKUST Advanced Research Institute. From 2017 to 2019, he was appointed as research Assistant Professor of HKUST and Junior Fellow of Advanced Research Institute (Associate Professor: Academician Deng Qingyun). In June 2019, he joined the School of Information Engineering, Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School. Research areas include: semiconductor devices, such as metal oxide thin film transistors, Schottky diodes; Advanced display technology, such as ultra-high pixel density OLED evaporation cover; Flexible electronics and sensor systems, such as metal oxide semiconductor-based flexible sensor systems. He has published more than 60 papers in well-known international journals and conferences, and has applied for 18 Chinese, American and international patents (12 have been authorized).
