Bai Zhiqiang, Ph.D./Doctoral Supervisor, Deputy Secretary-General of Peking University, Dean of Peking University Big Data Technology Research Institute, Chairman of Professional Degree Committee of Shenzhen Graduate School of Peking University. He has served as executive Vice President of Shenzhen Graduate School of Peking University, Party Secretary and vice president of School of Software and Microelectronics of Peking University, and member of academic Committee.
His research interests include data analysis and big data applications, geological information systems, intelligent transportation, etc. Geological data processing, in-depth study of paleontological fossil information processing, the use of information technology to process and identify fossils.
As a project leader or main member, he has undertaken a number of national research projects, key projects of the Ministry of Education, natural science foundation, doctoral fund and key projects of the Ministry of Petroleum, national 973 and 863, Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Commission/ Shenzhen Development and Reform Commission discipline construction projects.
