Zou Yuexian received her B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 1985 and 1990, her Ph.D. from the University of Hong Kong in 2000, and her return from Singapore to join the Shenzhen Graduate School of Peking University in 2005. He is currently a senior member of IEEE, a professor and doctoral supervisor of Peking University, the director of the Modern Signal and Data Processing Laboratory (ADSPLAB) of The Shenzhen Graduate School of Peking University (2006-), the deputy director of the Shenzhen Internet of Things Intelligent Perception Technology Engineering Laboratory (ELIP) (2012-), and has been selected as a high-level professional talent (local-level talent) in Shenzhen, and an expert of the Science and Technology Expert Committee of Guangdong Province and Shenzhen Municipality. Dr. Yuexian Zou has long been engaged in the teaching and scientific research of signal and data processing, and has deep research experience in the fields of intelligent signal and information processing, human-computer voice interaction, video image processing, pattern recognition and machine learning. He has presided over a number of national projects, including 2 NSFC projects and 2 863 program projects; He has presided over more than 10 local-level projects and more than 10 other projects, forming a series of innovative achievements, many of which have attracted the attention of the industry and are actively transforming their achievements. He has published more than 125 academic papers in top journals at home and abroad and international flagship academic conferences (including more than 80 SCI/EI inclusions), participated in the writing of 1 English monograph, and authorized 5 invention patents. He has visited the University of Hong Kong, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and the University of Wollongong in Australia as a visiting scientist, served as a review expert for NSFC, Guangdong NSFC and other projects, served as the chairman of the organizing committee of the international conference NEMS2009 and DSP2016 (Co-chair), a member of the technical committee and branch chairman of several international academic conferences, and a reviewer of many well-known academic journals and international conferences at home and abroad. In the past five years, the professional courses "Introduction to Pattern Recognition" and "Machine Learning and Its Applications" (2010-2016) have been opened for graduate students majoring in computer application technology at Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School, which have been welcomed by students and laid the foundation for students to carry out research in related fields. The current research directions of Professor Zou Yuexian's team are: 1) Pattern recognition theory and application based on deep network and sparse representation theory; 2) Theories and methods of intelligent auditory perception technology; 3) Data mining theory and application.
