School of Electronicand Computer Engineering (the school) is the largest department of Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School, and it is also an important integral part of Peking University's establishment of a world-class information science discipline system. The college currently has nearly 100 full-time employees and more than 500 graduate students.
The school currently offers three majors: Integrated Circuit Science and Engineering, Computer Application Technology, and Communication and Information Systems. The school has 14 key research centers, including the Shenzhen Branch of the National Engineering Research Center for Video and Vision Technology, and has two Shenzhen Peacock innovation teams on Image and Video Processing Research and Intelligent IoT System Chip Design Platform. Undertook important scientific research tasks such as the key R&D plans of the Ministry of Science and Technology and key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the school's annual scientific research funding in 2021 exceeds 100 million RMB. The school has also successively received the first prize of the National Technological Invention Award, the Special Prize of Technological Invention of Chinese Institute of Electronics, the Second Prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Award, and the First Prize of Shenzhen Technological Invention. Among these awards, six professors have been selected into the National Leading Talent Program. More than 200 high-level research papers are published annually. The research results have been widely recognized, and applied in theflatpanel display, ultra-high-definition videos, etc.
The school is seeking applications and nominations for the position of Vice-Dean, reporting to and working closely with theDeanas part of the senior leadership team, major areas of responsibilities include advancing the subject of Integrated Circuits or AI for Science.
